Today's jobs report was much weaker than expected. Payroll jobs fell 92k in Feb, and revisions to Dec data show a loss of 17k jobs. Average job growth over the last 3 months now under 6k.

We need the SSI Restoration Act to increase cash payments and fix rules that penalize Americans for getting married, for accepting help from a family member, or for saving more than just a few pennies. - @warren.senate.gov

Currently, SSI households have a poverty rate of about 29.2%.

But if the SSI Restoration Act were passed, that would drop down about 60% to 11.8%.

We told her afterwards that being suspended would have been well worth it. But we didn’t know about the walkouts until after they happened so didn’t have time to discuss. Apparently a small number of kids at her school did manage to get out.
