Scout is barking at half a reuben on a high counter. All afternoon. As though the fact that it is too high for him is a mistake.
The vet said Mom can come in and pet me for a little bit as long as I don’t lick her and she’s careful with the kitty litter. It’s all very weird. But I didn’t like being hyperthyroid either and I think I already feel the difference.
Taco, I get TWO CHURUS A DAY.

It’s not too bad. It’s a sectional couch that I rearranged to be a big bed. I was going to take my work stuff out of the office and put her in there, but there’s nothing comfy in there for her. I figured I can do this for 10 days.
Mellie’s doing great and spoiled rotten. The rest of us not so much.
Not yet. I have to time the transfer of powers just right.
(Mellie had radioactive iodine treatment and is in isolation in the best room while Scout and I sleep on the couch)
Also Scout says, he has an actual nuclear kitty in the next room and would you like to acquire her?

They act brave and cool but the truth about cats is they are afraid of fruits and vegetables.
