Odd, my pickup’s trailer lights don’t need software to work, they’re just hardwired to the, uh, truck’s normal lights

“We’ll be making a decision on public schools by noon on Sunday”
Whoa a school district that doesn’t make closure decisions 90 minutes before the busses depart for the morning so people can actually plan their day? What a concept
Reminds me of
As low as you can get away with. Just keep an eye on component temperatures. Most components like to be below 80c, and damage can occur above the mid-90s. Counterintuitively, adding more fans (if your case has empty spaces for them) might help you lower fan speeds while keeping airflow the same.

At least whoever left that laying around had the common curtesy to use a gasketed screw
Ah so it’s a safety thing, disabling the HV system when it’s unneeded.
I guess I just assumed it was an untaken design optimization keeping the two systems separate.
Like, in theory if the HV system was always active there could just be a big DC-DC converter and capacitor bank.
I never understood why electric cars still have a standard battery.
I get why they have a 12v system, it just seems like if you have a system on board than can feed enough power to run all the 12v accessories while also charging a battery, what’s the point of an additional component that can fail?
Just checked, and my 20 year old microwave is rated at 1700w. ‘Murica I guess
