Noseeums (2025) dir. Raven Carter is a well-intentioned Southern Gothic social horror debut about microaggressions, racial history, and vengeful spirits in Florida backwoods. Strong visuals + atmosphere, but heavy-handed messaging and uneven scares hold it back. Solid effort, 4/10 for me.
