I went to Latitude 2015 for the day to see Portishead and she was on before. Have not bought recent albums. Too much music!!

About 10 years now, which is a shocker. I was at the album launch of Marika Hackman, and said to someone I must check out Laura Marling. I will never know for sure, but I think Laura Marling was standing very close at that point in time! I would not have recognised her at that time.

The only one of the first three, I don’t have on vinyl, but aim to get it. Was fortunate to see all three lineups at the back to front gig 14 years ago.

I saw them at festival last year and I thought they had lost their edge. Then I realised how long it was since I’ve seen them. Over 10 years.

Picked up two singles by a different ‘the toys’ a few years ago; my biggest find ever by a long way. In days of Discogs app I suspect they wouldn’t have got onto the shelves.

Could be a first time to buy one of the albums. I like to act on impulse…. after a couple of beers.

I aspire to listen to them, but there’s only been 20 years. Could probably wait another 20. I really like the song I heard on a free CD.

Only heard it for the first time a couple of years ago. Really, really good.
