A black and white drawing of my spouse, questioning how we ordered all this food, saying "I kind of give-a-mouse-a-cookie'd my lunch"
A freebie to one place leads to a bogo at another, which then reminds us that we have a coupon to another place -- and next thing you know, we have a whole feast! ๐

A black and white drawing of my spouse, celebrating our huge garden, saying "I'm a f*cking farmers market!"
We're actually really proud of our garden -- we grew sweet corn for the first time, and it was delicious!

A black and white drawing of my spouse, carrying a duck in a canvas bag, saying "one second you're young and carefree... And then next you're taking your pet duck to the emergency vet because she's family"
Last winter, one of our ducks was attacked in the evening by an opossum and Jody rushed her to an emergency vet (tucked under their arm in a canvas bag). She spent the next three weeks in our bathtub as we cleaned her wounds and gave her antibiotics, and made a full recovery ๐๐ฆ

The sun should still be afraid of lawsuits, because Jody gets sun burnt very easily โ๏ธ๐ฅ

JUST NOW โ Our reporters are at the Broadview ICE facility (outside of Chicago) where protestors have been demonstrating since 5:00 a.m.
As a cargo van left the facility, a federal agent on the roof started shooting what seems to be pepper balls at protestors just before 9:00 a.m.
