β οΈ State gov workers WATCH OUT
DOGE is coming for your data. They are not just stealing from federal systems anymore. Time to resist the pressure they are putting on state governments.

currently you can actually lose your job with the government for acknowledging that pronouns exist.
I heard Stephen A. Smith tell CNN yesterday that "people are afraid they're going to lose their job for messing up a pronoun" and it really amazes me how many people don't realize they are awash in intentional propaganda designed to make them afraid of the wrong things and angry at the wrong people
I recently had someone on Facebook I strongly suspect is ask me for peer-reviewed citations for saying that autism is genetic π«
taking my time to reply to that one, where to start lol
Here is a letter from the Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy threatening to withhold funding from local governments if they donβt comply with immigration enforcement operations.
people on my block are aware of whatβs happening at my work (or that it even exists)
this is the first time I think thatβs ever happened
these are always fun talks
omg I would lose my mind
I think I probably have similar noise, but it does not take verbal form for me at all, not as audiation (imagined βhearingβ) nor as printed words
itβs justβ¦something else
yeah does it like, tell you whst time it is and stuff?
haha I have no inner voice, just a lot of other noise if I donβt manage my thoughts
I felt the same way when I learned about you people π
yep, outlier spatial estimation π
give me some limited resources and a problem to solve, Iβm your person
so the atlantic decided to publish an essay about women in baseball that:
- Does not mention Toni Stone or Mamie Johnson or Ila Borders or Kelsie Whitmore or Ayami Sato or Megan Baltzell or...
- Does not mention girl's travel ball teams (seems to conflate HS teams with Little League)
oh, "we are cooked?" have you considered tjat cooking increases the bioavailability of certain nutrients?? HMMMM???
the only approach to trump that has ever made sense was βslow him down as much as possible while rallying public support to your causeβ and while most politicians, pundits, and big law partners donβt get this, some do, and lawyers in particular have the tools to act on that understanding
Politics is more clear when you remember that the "waste" in "government waste" is the profit that some rich asshole isn't making off labor in the public sector whose only purpose is the common good.
soooooo angry
Iβm not that kind of autistic, Iβm the βthatβs not gonna fitβ kind π
love to be governed by people who act like examples from security trainings I would dismiss as so blunt they're ineffective
I will never forget when autism parents discovered autistic adults on the internet and their first thought was, "finally, someone who will understand how hard my life is" and we had to explain to them that we identified more with the children in their stories than with them as the parents.
me asking if someone wishes to be perceived before complimenting them π«
lol GSA cleared out an entire wing of their HQ for the transition team and they justβ¦didnβt use it
ah, I see youβve been to NoLibs in Philly
I hate these βwhat have we become?β type posts because since Europeans first arrived in the Americas, some population has been subject to these kinds of policies and actions
Yes things are getting worse in some ways, but stop denying history. Itβs racist among other things.
On being called DEI and why it isnβt the burn they think it is
"The question of who DOGE is has taken on an almost metaphysical quality"
This ambiguity is a strategy to avoid accountability. Broligarchs want to steal our public wealth without being named.

Before I was disabled, I took meticulous care of myself in my late teens through late 20s. At age 29 I developed moderate ME/CFS, tipping into severe presentation during crashes.
So I'd go so far as to say that a lot of the people who take care of themselves this carefully are already sick.
