Tremendous!
And shot you can provide a list? Itβs difficult to tell what several of the pre-war cards are (picture blurs significantly when you expand it).

That oppo 2B against Charlton was butter.
A lot of respect for this ballot, and the reasoning behind it.
It wouldnβt mirror my own choices, but itβs logical, and well presented.

The three spirits:
Booooooo!!!
95 wins.
Write it down.
These are actually older than you thought, sir!
These are from the 1945-46 Caramelo Deportivo Cuban issue!
Congrats! Theyβre all beautiful!
I mean, I think itβs relative to needs.
Adding a legit veteran 3-4 starter to that team, with a rotation topped by a legitimate ace, is very exciting.
Thatβs probably a 95 win team with this addition.
My man!
I *love* a card and story like this!
Gorgeous!
Oh, thatβs *clean*β¦
Iβm a huge fan of 1962 Topps in general, but Iβm in agreement with you on Brock being the best.
Iβm a *huge* fan of the 1955 Jackie. Itβs my personal favorite of all of his Topps issues.
And Iβm chuckling that youβve *somehow managed to color match it to your lawn*!!!
I wish I could get my lawn looking that good.
A+++++ on both accounts sir! And thank you for your service.
Thatβs an amazing card.
It really captures Cobb.
Thanks for sharing.

Here is my 1939 Play Ball Ted Williams rookie. Itβs not my most valuable card (though it is valuable), but itβs absolutely my favorite.
Show me your favorite card from your collection, #CardSky!
Oh, without question.
I havenβt built a set, in earnest, since the 1945-46 Caramelo Deportivo project.
I have several Iβm currently βworking onβ, but theyβre mostly just sitting there waiting for me to reengage with them.
Iβll probably start on another whale this upcoming summer.
Thatβs an impressive list of builds.
Did you buy any of them complete, or did you build them all?
For as talented as he was, he was an older rookie at the age of 24.
He spent two seasons each at both AA and AAA, despite tearing it up at those levels.
Ohhh, I like this one!

Hereβs a recently acquired pair from my PC that I didnβt know I needed until I saw them.
My (mislabeled) 1922 American Caramel E121 Joe Sewell rookie, SGC 2, displayed along with my JSA certified Sewell signed ball.
Show me an impulse buy from * your* that you love, #CardSky!
Yup. That Martin is another great one.
Casey Stengel is in the same team set as well, and has a couple of cards in earlier Oaks issues also.
Iβm going to go with the 1949 Oakland Oaks Jackie Jensen.
Thereβs already a ton of PED users in Cooperstown.
Steroid usage was becoming rampant and problematic in the game as early as the late 1960βs and early 1970βs.
He did have a few truly dominate seasons (97, 05, and to a slightly lesser extent 96).
Iβm not a βbig Hallβ guy, but I am a βmany paths to the Hallβ guy.
There are truly elite careers that are clearly Hall worthy. Guys like Aaron, Mays, Ted Williams, Maddux, Randy Johnson.
But for everyone else, where arguments need to be made, I think peak and longevity have equal merit.
See, hereβs the thing: I donβt think either clearly is.
Sabathia is tied for 55th all-time in pitching WAR, and his counting stats donβt really scream dominance.
And while you might personally disagree with the β1st Ballotβ moniker, the actual voting process disagrees with you.
If you want to argue that Sabathia might have been slightly better, thatβs reasonable.
But to argue that Sabathia is a 1st ballot HOFer, while Pettitte garnered only 13% of the vote last year and is now on his 7th ballot? Nope.
Yes.
