The blog includes four recommendations for plantation managers:
1. Promote connectivity with disturbed or restored forests
2. Conserve tall remnant trees and plant additional tall trees
3. Protect water bodies
4. Limit frond stacking

They found that the number of species in a location was highest in plantation blocks with taller trees, lower levels of frond stacking, and at blocks closer to water sources and disturbed forests.
