Why would I care about the literal price tag of war? What is $11 billion dollars to the United States? Who knows? Was that money ever going to be used to uplift people?
Decoding the incredible violence we're responsible for and recoding it as money is paving over the deaths those dollars paid for.
A bomb means something that money, as the universal mediator, cannot quantify. Someone will tabulate the lives lost, the particles inhaled from the smoke of oil fires, or the displacement of huge populations, and give it a dollar venue and I want you to recognize what is happening when they do that.
