Bonjour!

It’s been a long time since I showed my face around here. I’m very much appreciating the return of fall.

So people who are hurting and feeling paralyzed right now keep doing your things. Make the art, tell the story, be kind, feed someone, adopt a pet, laugh at a joke, plant a tree, listen to an elder or a child. Don’t stop doing the good things cuz no one is gonna stop doing the hateful things.

I feel paralyzed by all the horror and heartache going on in the world right now. You know who doesn’t feel paralyzed by it? Terrible people, doing terrible things. They feel emboldened and inspired.

It’s a vegetarian version my grandmother used to make. I’ve been missing her something fierce the past few years. I made it to feel close to her for a little while.
I think I’ll be adding mince pies to my holiday baking from now on. ♥️
