⭕️ New: Israeli forces have withdrawn from Tubas after a four-day operation marked by large raids, mass detentions, and the takeover of homes for military use. The Tubas governor told Al-Araby TV the army has pulled out its vehicles, left the houses it seized, and that roads are now being reopened.
WAFA reports that medical teams treated more than 166 people assaulted by soldiers, with about 60 transferred to hospital. The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society says around 200 residents were detained during the assault, most later released.
Before withdrawing, Israeli forces had conducted operations in Tubas city, Aqaba, and Tayasir, following earlier raids in Tammun and Al-Fara’a camp, Ultra Palestine reported. WAFA, the official Palestinian news agency, reported extensive night raids, with some homes turned into barracks.
At the same time, the Israeli army says it is continuing to demolish buildings in Jenin under its “Five Stones” operation, with plans to level 24 more structures after ordering residents to flee or be killed. Recent raids in Jenin included the point-blank murder of two young men who had surrendered, and mass arrests, part of a wider offensive that has displaced thousands and destroyed homes and infrastructure.
