Yesterday you posted that NYC should elect a good mayor and today you post this. Maybe let's work to support a good mayor in the city we live in? Someone who hates transit, opposes social housing, and has exacerbated our housing and homelessness crisis is in fact a bad mayor. This is sad.

Parents in HCC make nearly three times the median sps students family income. I think it's appropriate to point that out to understand who is being served by said program.

In sps they actually don't consider white or Asian families furthest from educational justice. I'd be more interested in hearing from parents worried about 36 kids per high school class which is my situation as a teacher. 34-37 kid's per class.

I'm a teacher and every teacher I have ever worked with has hated hcc. It was such a mess. No, I don't think we should cut esol programs and not sure why that was brought up....

Fortunately, sps listened to teachers on this.
