A vibrant watercolour painting of a galah on a branch with a green background.
A painting of a galah I did back in February. Slowly getting the hang of watercolours - something I’ve wanted to do forever but been too impatient and found it too hard.
(I’m still impatient but sometimes I can beat my brain into submission)

A colorful acrylic painting by Jim Musil depicting a woman riding her bike through blossoming pink trees. The grass is a bright yellow green for Spring.

A portrait study in digital. My feelings on this painting go back and forth on me liking it and not. I spent a couple of hours on it and it’s one of very few colour portraits I’ve done. I need to do more of these, but watercolour is my current fixation.

Designed a logo for my partner a few weeks ago to put on her electronics repair projects to denote they’re fixed. The muscle memory for Affinity designer came back remarkably quick. I also messed around with 3D printing the logo for fun using Blender to extrude the SVG file.

Starting an art account here, will crosspost with Instagram for a while (@indoctrinedesign). So far none of the new social media platforms have tickled me, but it's always worth trying.
