(I forgot to add that I was a newspaper editor for decades. I earned my first degree in journalism and then worked in it a long time. I went back to school later and on to other fields. 😁)

I’m old school in thinking journalists should not share personal opinions like that or appear to. Caveats: 1. Yes, no human is truly objective, but professionally you need to generally aim for neutrality in coverage. 2. She’s maybe not what I’d call a journalist anymore.
