Thanks. Itβs quite compelling. Looking forward to playing day 2.

Getting my head around Earthborne Rangers. Doing the biscuit run, like any good new ranger.
I want to introduce you all to something myself and @jacksonwryan.com have been working on.
A PRINT MAGAZINE about video games and video game culture.
We know things have been bad for games writing recently. We're asking, "do you want to Continue?"

My snow mix seems to have worked. Will see how it looks fully dried.
Just solo conquest I think itβs called. Itβs been a while. But I did remember the rule about rampaging enemies attacking if I move from an adjacent space to another.
I find watching a playthrough can help both raise excitement to get back to a game and refresh the rules.
Itβs one that can always hover at the edge of choosing, but Iβm glad I did.
It's a little involved, but not the worst. I took my time over lunch break and it took about 40 minutes to set up, but I was also updating myself on rules and the solo setup. You probably want a few hours free per game though.
Ready to Mage Knight!
I sometimes try to visualise an ideal world where Iβd want to play games that Iβm thinking of selling - often for big, heavy βretirementβ games. I usually realise it will just never happen. And I also know that if it ever did there would be more games as good or better by then.
I got halfway through my second solo game and realised that as much as I like so many things about it, Iβd never be doing anything other than playing glacially across two rulebooks.
Lovely. I keep telling myself I donβt need this oneβ¦.
Haha - yeah itβs worth appreciating the ritual.
Made some rocks. Just need to mix up some snow.
Lawns are done, so Iβm rewarding myself with what will no doubt be a harrowing play of Robinson Crusoe π . Doing the King Kong scenario from the Book of Adventures. #boardgames

Feb plays. So glad I got to teach my LotR buddy War of the Ring for our first (hopefully of many) play.
Yep. Every mini in this game is disturbing but awesome.
Ithaqua from Death May Die. Thinking of attempting a rocky snow base.
A game in progress of the board game Wayfarers of the South Tigris.
Second play of Wayfarers of the South Tigris. Got trounced by the bot, but still an enjoyable game. Next time, Iβm going to try rushing the end to stop the bot scoring so many cards. #boardgames
I'm enjoying the components and general atmosphere of setup, will see if the solo is for me. Likely start Friday, just wanted to get it ready.
@elprezau.bsky.social Set up for a solo game of John Company. Not sure what Iβm in for. Probably about 4 hours of watching YouTube tutorials!
@elprezau.bsky.social Book delivery. Canβt wait for the right time to cuppa up & slurp over this one!
More playtesting for a solo card game me and my son are working on. Trying to simplify things as much as possible while still maintaining balance, decision spaces and a bit of luck mitigation. (@elprezau.bsky.social)
Time for a solo-aids box.
Another Cthulhu: Death May Die monster done. I had just the right kind of yellow to make this look suitably gross.
Mikeβs tight buns are about ready to strike fear into Eldritch horrors (in Cthulhu: Death May Die).
@elprezau.bsky.social Just a bit of Burncycle. And a free Too Many Bones plushie.
It's great. And just as fun solo or with others.
Set up for a three-player Slay the Spire. Should be a fun time. #boardgames
Once the bases are done, these should look good on the table. (Cthulhu Death May Die minis from Season 4 & 5).
