This has come out several times at Monday game night, but I haven't been able to get in on one because I've always been in the middle of another game. I want to try it.

Old Twitter post by bravecrab. Pitch: a muppet movie where the muppets play D&D, and it cuts between the muppets around the table and the fantasy being acted out, but instead of it just being the muppets dressed up in D&D fantasy costume, it's celebrity actors but the muppets do the voices, and the actors have to act how those muppets would. Imagine a barbarian played by Jason Mamoa voiced by Miss Piggy.
Batting around class/actor combo ideas for a muppet D&D movie (Sorcerer/ScarJo voiced by Gonzo?) with my wife and she pitched Kermit as the DM. I countered that Kermit should be Paladin/Jason Sudeikis, and the DM should be the only human at the table, @matthewmercer.bsky.social. I'd pay to see it.
Age verification?
Yes!
Mine is a little non-sequiter, but surprisingly appropos to current events as well...
Fatally shot and killed is far too many words when you can just say murder. Masked ICE thugs murder another person in Minneapolis.

I managed to score a copy of the 1980's Civilization board game that inspired Sid Meier to create the video game. With a 5-12 hour play time, playing it back in college was an all day backyard BBQ event. Good times. Gotta get the house cleaned up and hopefully I can find enough people to recreate.
I feel like you're just on the edge of a haiku here.
Today I wrapped up a run-through of the Horror On The Orient Express campaign for my Call of Cthulhu group. 16 months, ~70 sessions, over 200 hours. Fun, but I'm ready to turn over the GM baton for a bit. Now I just need to scare up at least two more players for a Shadowrun game I've been planning.

Oh god... when did everything make me start feeling so old?
The person who shares a bathroom with you might have an opinion on that...
I ran the whole thing in the basement around while working today. Might be the first modern political speech I've listened to all of.
A movie you've seen more than 7 times with a GIF
Finished the HD-2D remake of the original Dragon Quest. It was the 1st Nintendo game I played on my own NES, which I got for Xmas when I was 8 or 9 along with Super Mario 1 & 3 & Duck Hunt. Used to be able to beat it in 8 - 10 hours, but they added enough content to up that to 16. 10/10 nostalgia.
Happy spooky season! Kiddo's first pumpkin. The dino obsession continues.
Aren't you dating yourself by having an animated crush, however? I feel like that is a late Gen X / early Millenial trend start.
First animated crush without saying your age.
Went inside a McDs for the first time in years to get lunch for kiddo. No cashier, automated terminals with poor order workflow (unnecessary steps, pauses, add nags), and chairs bolted to the floor. Automation makes for shitty user experiences more often than not these days.
I'd rather have people wrap themselves in the country and burn the flag than wrap themselves in the flag and burn the country.
