"Bad" writing is better than no writing. I'm serious. You can always polish up a work, get a beta reader, or fuck, just put it out there-- someone will love it. But you can't do that with something that doesn't exist at all. Don't be afraid of "bad" writing. It just has to be.

Even if there are a thousand other fics that sound the same as yours, yours is unique and worth writing BECAUSE you wrote it. No one will tell the story the way you will and that makes it unique.
