I am curious to what extent this is a story of demand or supply. My guess for the demand side difference is the result of different public high school education in different state ( assuming most student attending the public California universities are in-state students)

Super interesting report on global AI adoption built from Microsoft telemetry data. Chinese open-source models appear to be rapidly gaining ground in Russia, Cuba, Iran, Belarus, and parts of Middle East and Africa. Are we watching the early formation of an AI model divide along geopolitical lines?
