Al Maari's devotion to his vegan beliefs is evident in his literary works. He promoted ethical values towards animals and opposed their exploitation. His poems reflect his deep aversion to harming animals and the environment. He was a very progressive thinker, unfortunately still today.

Saving them by, for example, neutering street cats, adopting homeless cats, keeping the garden wild and natural, fighting for habitat protection, rescuing wildlife, etc., but also, and above all, by NOT doing something: by not eating animal ‘products’.
