Leg update! They are pretty sure they got it fixed. They had to laser and balloon the blood clot. So, I'm sore and tired, but it should be feeling better in a couple days. It's going to be sore as the blood gets back to it, but it'll be good❤️

Back home, they think they fixed it, so resting and watching some TV on the couch.

Thank you❤️ I've had one before, so I'm OK, it would just be good if they figure it out. Next step is a hematologist, as my PCP said "you have very weird blood." 😄
Another short procedure tomorrow (angiogram in my leg) that will hopefully allow them to clear the blood clot behind my knee. Then it's back on track to walking without pain👏

Yes! It might be heavily discounted. There's not a lot of miles, but my husband bought it for my birthday and it's lavender😄 He was excited, it was named after a Taylor song.
Yeah, we have some quiet neighborhoods, but it takes heavy traffic to get there.
I would definitely try it out. It's fun. Mine is class 2, so it doesn't go over a certain speed and honestly, I don't like going too fast😄 They're great on hills. I have the Lectric XP Lite. Good starter bike.
Hahaha, the first time I had to cross a major street, I stood there for like 5 minutes. A car finally stopped and forced my hand🤣 I would have sat there all day.
I tried😄 I was too late. I'll try riding it next year and go from there. There's no physical reason I can't, it's all mental at this point.
We specifically got folding ones so we could take them to parks and ride, both of us dislike riding on the street. I literally rode around our neighborhood for weeks when I first got it😄
No doubt. I think if I knew then what was going to happen, I would have gotten their folding trike. The first few times riding were so scary. I tried out my husbands before I got one, totally get it. I'm guessing it'll be a year before I get back on it.
That's why I got this one, it folds. It fits into my HRV. But, it wouldn't be economical for other things. Since we don't have kids, we can use the backseat for clothes and stuff on road trips and take both our bikes in my car. I also like that it has levels, I can get the help or not😄
We were really bad for a year or two😄 Every time I took my car in, we got a new car. I paid cash for my 2019, didn't really drive it because the pandemic, traded it in for a 2023 (only a couple thousand difference). Took that one in for an oil change and bought the truck. We're done with that.
If you decide to go the e-bike route, let me know. It was a little more spendy, but I got the best value e bike. I love it. If I didn't have a car, it would be ideal for groceries, any distance, etc.
Me too! Thank you! I can handle stuff, but that would have been a lot. And, I honestly wasn't sure what he'd do. The last time I took him for his colonoscopy, he said he wasn't doing it again, so I wasn't sure how he'd proceed.
We're keeping these vehicles until the wheels fall off😄 We sort of "good timing, good trades," got into both, so we ended up paying cash for each. No payments, good gas mileage? Yes please😄
He called me Saturday and was all stoic, "I'm going to come over tomorrow . . . " and I was kind of dreading the news. Turns out it wasn't bad, just him being weird😄 Sometimes I think he doesn't share with us, I think he doesn't want to add to our stuff. But we got this😄
I don't think I've ever been more grateful that both of us work from home and drive economical Hondas😄 Even my husband Ridgeline gets 25+ mpg. My HRV is a little over 30 mpg average. Very lucky choices in 2023.
After last year (husband having colorectal cancer, my health rapidly spiraling after an allergic reaction, leading to my leg being amputated) my dad having to have a scab because of elevated PSA levels was . . . not great. He stopped by with good news though, no cancer!
