JUST IN: Democrats flip a seat in the New Hampshire state House.
Dem Bobbi Boudman has won today’s special election, NHJournal reports.
(Boudman was the Dem nominee in 2024 & lost by 14%; Trump won here by 9%.)
This is Dems’ third legislative flip so far this year, after Texas and Arkansas.

And #2: The Senate race is set between GOP incumbent Cindy Hyde-Smith and Scott Colom for Dems. Colom is a DA whose nomination to a lifetime federal judgeship by Biden was blocked by Hyde-Smith.
Mississippi result #1: Rep. Bennie Thompson easily survives his Democratic primary challenge from a younger Dem who argued it’s time for generational change. Thompson, 78, has held the seat since the 1992 elections.
RESULT: The AP calls it, that there will be a runoff between Democrat Shawn Harris and Republican Clayton Fuller in April (meaning they’ll take the top 2 spots and neither will get 50%).
This is the reddest district in Georgia, though Dems are at least going to get a big overperformance today.
The first of three NH towns that make up tonight’s legislative special election came in.
The Republican is up 5% there. In 2024, the Republican won here by 26% on the way to winning the district by 14%.

It is needed. It’s surreal. They are building a hospital and they already did a roundabout! I was cracking up. I was like there you go. I think they are going to put speed bumps on the side streets an extend bike lanes from what we heard.
And when that happens it backs up everything and people get hurt and or die. We had so many fatalities around Kingstowne it was unreal. A car flipped outside my community and no one died but it was upside down. So getting ahead of that mess is good Fairfax was too reactive and not proactive.
It is. I just go with you do what you can for the most good for all. Not just because you don’t want it. Kingstowne repeatedly asked for more bike lanes and I’m happy to see them. But we need more traffic calming on our main stretch and we have had constant accidents cause of speeders.
