Thanks Rachel.
That fits in with my plan.
Me and Peter will then aim to spend Thursday on the North Norfolk coast and Friday at WWT Welney.

Cool find Rachel.
On a separate note.
I have a long time birder friend, Peter Driver joining me from Wiltshire later this week.
We are going to visit the lake where the lesser scaup was resident for a while.
Any idea if the lesser scaup is still about? Would be a lifer for Peter.
Thanks
Great find Rachel.
Did a walk down to Needingworth RSPB today and was pleased to see the Lesser scaup is still present.
Then a walk round Ouse Fen with great views of the bearded tits but no sign, as far as I know, of the penduline tit.
Cool.
Never seen a drake in full plumage

A good walk along the seawall from Keyhaven today. It was a pleasure to catch up with this female Long-tailed Duck at Jetty Lagoon, Pennington.

Thats cool. Another question... how do you get to the lake?
Sorry that should have read Barleycraft
Thanks Rachel
Do you know if the lesser scaup is still at haycraft lake
Spent a few hours at this most sulberious point today and was pleased to pick out this brut of a Glaucous Gull.
Too far off to photo from my point but a lifer for me
I also thought that I better post something to introduce myself.

Do any local birders know if the lesser scaup is still at barleycraft lake.
If it is where is the best route to access the lake.
