I dunno how to explain to people that Tackle flashes her panties at the screen 3 times an episode and is also one of the coolest female grapplers in fiction. It makes me feel like a massive dweeb.

I had a Hitman phase where I was practicing drawing Agent 47 and I think I developed a fondness for drawing weirdos in suits lol

I found out about the Kodansha 4 Koma challenge really late cuz I wasn't checking Twitter so I kinda slapped this quick joke together in 2 days lmao.

I miss telling jokes and stories, anyways, I always feel like more of a writer than illustrator. Art practice felt really bad last year because I wrote no dialogue, so it felt like I wasn't able to develop or showcase any of my strengths as a creator. Here's hoping that changes this year.

First I'll put together some random storyboards about random stuff to build confidence. Then if all goes well I'll start putting together the magical girl one-shot that I've been planning. I'd like to have something that I can show off in a portfolio review.

I've been thinking about art plans for 2026. I basically spent all of 2025 practicing a new manga art style, and I'm still not very confident in my ability to, say, make a serialized manga.

But I think this is the year I start putting pages together and focusing on storytelling.

Never watched a single episode of Kamen Rider but this OST is hyping me up for Kamen Rider like crazy. Same goes for the whole show, really.

You know what other anime I'm actually really excited for is season 2 of "Tis torture time, Princess". Hilariously wholesome despite the name and just chill vibes all around. The character designs are adorable too it's such a good time.

Still on that Tojima wants to be a Kamen Rider bender. Was NOT ready for how cool Tackle was gonna be I'm in the mood to draw some grappling

Holiday break has been giving me some time to draw lately so I'm just drawing more anime I'm into.

I feel like Tojima wants to be a Kamen Rider is being slept on it's been WILDLY good. Some of the best anime fights this season and so much Kamen Rider lore I'm hyped as hell

I also figured out that I have to use JSON instead of PNG for manga posts because black and white manga toning does NOT show up on social media. It matters WAY more than color posts I should have noticed sooner 😭

I started reading Star: Strike it Rich lately and it's been a great time, lotsa fight scenes and action shots to learn from. Drew Yuzuha Lee because she's best girl and she has excellent taste in cute Chinese outfits
