I joined another fired-up DFL convention in SD31 last night.

I'm so grateful to everyone who showed up on a Friday night to put democracy in action.

Congress must immediately act to rein in Trump and collectively determine what action - diplomatic or military - will truly protect Americans at home and abroad.

Authorizing a war without Congressional approval is unconstitutional and another twisted way Trump is exploiting his presidency. Minnesotans want affordable health care and groceries, not an illegal and costly war with Iran.

In Two Harbors I met the mother of a National Guardsman who was worried her son would be called up to serve in another senseless war.

Real Minnesotans’ lives are at stake, as are the lives of innocent people throughout the Middle East.

Everywhere I go, people tell me they can't afford their lives.

They tell me they are ready to get big money and corporations out of our politics.

As a mom, seeing children abused like this infuriates me and makes me sick. The complete lack of accountability for harm - for everything we've gone through under the Trump admin - is truly disgusting.
