You are quite concerned with labels. How about we support policies we like and oppose ones we don’t without having to worry about labels.
Every system has its pro and cons. Look at Germany, Italy, and Israel. Small parties pushing the government to extreme policies. I believe that public opinion and free media is far more effective in holding government accountable. For example, Ford and the greenbelt.
