Been sitting in my Steam library for a while based on Linneman's opinion of it. I'll move it up the In Tray accordingly.

It is superb.
One day if prices go back to normal, I can see me grabbing it for completionists sake, but then again there's a fair few N64 games ahead of it that I want.
Agreed. But then again, all three in the extreme sports trilogy are all timers. 1080 is perhaps more zen than WR64 and Excitebike 64 is incredibly underappreciated.
Preditable, but tasteful.
WipeOut 64's a strange one. Had an opportunity to get a copy once, but the price wasn't right and in the face of the definitive article i.e. the PlayStation version, it just didn't have the pull.
Banjo, thematically, is perfect and has been the template for many 3D platformers ever since, even more so than perhaps SM64. Simply put, SM64 was the foundation, but BK was the perfection of the formula.
I will go on record again as saying F-Zero X is the best the series ever got, IMO.
Hmm, tough stuff. Is Banjo better than Mario? Yes, I think so.
Something about you reap what you sow.
Still better than Impossamole mind.
Charming, but also a bit shit.
True. And instead of driving tests, we play Geoff Crammonds F1 Grand Prix for 80 hours.
Marathon by name, short sprint by nature etc etc.
Not me. I like my games old, not obsolete.
Not a huge fan of Ryan Industries either. Terrible working conditions and the ownerβs a monster.
You name me a moral corporation and we can map something out. π
The alternative way to look at this is to say Fuck The Coca Cola Company, bunch of union busting, clean water hoarding buncha assholes.
I think I made him mad.
Knew youβd appreciate it bud, being a man of consummate taste and all.
Still got the itch, eh?
Holy moly! How does something that old stay in such good shape?
Predates GameBoy? Could have sworn it was post.
The original was spectacular, but Iβm most fond of X because it did genuinely push the series, if not the whole genre forward. Silky smooth 60-50 fps with countless competitors on screen on an N64? Truly stunning.
I want to say it 1990 or 91 at least.
Alright, letβs do this.
My little brother had one of those. Pretty complicated for a Game and Watch.
Who knew that the best SCUMM game ever went to the venerable FM Towns?
I know some people are a bit marmite on it, but for me itβs the most complete and comfortable solution out there, as pads go.
Old Leon is Hot Leon.
Seasons 1 and 2? Sure.
