Las Vegas is intense and £££ so we hired a car and headed to the Grand Canyon via the Hoover Dam.
Only 4 hours to Grand Canyon Village, so a short hop in Twitcher terms. Did some birding at Sunrise.

Slowly going through the US pictures , starting with Henderson Bird Preserve about 30 mins outside of Las Vegas. Due to the time it took to get our hire car we only had about an hour and a half. Missed so much but pleased with what we did see. Nice to finally see Kildeers..much bigger than I thought
