The Intima - Peril and Panic
A beautiful reissue of one of the primary bands of the west coast turn of the century postpunk/weirdo punk/no wave revival scene, combining the political urgency of The Ex and the whirlwind intensity of Unwound they were band everyone loved and was inspired by.
The Intima, a boundary-blurring postpunk act that thrived from 1999 to 2004 and shared stages with icons like The Rapture and The Mekons, is finally seeing their 2003 album ‘peril and panic’ get the reissue it deserves...

Fred Thomas in Lovesick by Themba of the Intima. The Lovesick lp played nonstop for a period in the Lexington street house. And house resident Nate Powell in fact ended up putting out a cd discography of the band.
