Really feels like today was the death blow for the games press as a mainstream concern. I’m grateful for independent publications that still cover the medium with plenty of nuance and passion, but it hurts to see a field that gave me so much over the years dry up and deny others those opportunities

I would just like to point out that Suikoden II is a Chrono Trigger-tier RPG and one of the best video games ever made and you have an ethical obligation to buy and play it.

It carried Nintendo during one of their most unsuccessful times as company due to Wii U.
Michelle Trachtenberg and I were around the same age, I grew up watching her on Nickelodeon shows like Pete & Pete, and the movie Harriet the Spy. She was great in Buffy and hilarious in Eurotrip too.
This is just so sad. 39 is too young.
