What should I do in this situation?
Agreed, I've been doing that (finding better practice) for as long as I've been playing comp. My criticisms aren't necessarily in regards to "its affecting me", its just a criticism on the community (not as a whole ofc) and an opinion I've had since I learnt about the + server.
my complaints are not about not* versing better players (miswrote that)
I don't think I'm wording it correctly tbh it sounds better in my head but noctis says it better. my complaints are not about versing better players its about those "better" players actually playing the game.

-wanna lose to a non + team and get resulted or something.
I'm not tryna say that plus is inhibiting player improvement I just dislike how players treat plus, as a goal and podium to stand on. If it was purely treated as extra networking then no problems but that isnt the case esp for +3 I feel where people might not even join tournaments cause they dont-
I'm not saying sendouq is cosmetic its the plus badge that is, like I rarely see any plus players joining with any non plus players even if lwk those non plus players are better than them, they only queue with other plus players and again it seems like some sort of "I'm better than you" syndrome
also sendouq existing isn't the problem its moreso the point of flaunting a cosmetic thing that says "I'm better than you" which kinda sucks.
oh no I'm not saying the existence of + is gatekeeping improvement, but I think its separating the community, you should be able to improve regardless of scrim server or not.
thats me in the drip pic btw
and implement the least biased way to have new people join higher and higher spaces through their own improvement. That could be through a season based queue system, could be tournament placements, etc. Just please make it so that everyone has a shot regardless of popularity.
a popularity contest based scrim server system? What is the need for something you need to be advertising yourself for? Why can't your solo gameplay speak for itself with no questions needing to be asked? Just make one server that everyone can have access to, but still split it by roles-
And that's achieved by playing the 6mans queue system, everyone uses it and every single professional player who's played at world championship level could not recommend it enough if they had enough time, so why do we then in the splatoon community have-
I'm gonna sound like a broken record by bringing this up but look at the rocket league 6mans server, same exact premise as a regular scrim server but the only difference is that the rank or role you reach is gained by simply being better than your rank/role-
-they start treating it as a status symbol, and it doesn't help that its integrated deeply in to sendou and its own queueing system, why the need for a badge next to your name that means you're at an arbitrary skill level? What purpose does it serve outside of division between people?-
the more "abolish+" side of things I think comes from abolishing the status or hierarchy that kinda exists, lotta plus players that have massive ego, just make servers that are normal scrim servers instead of goals for players to chase, when those kind of spaces become a goal for people to reach-

your guys' performance against shuumas team was phenomenal to watch, and I believe if anyone can do it that your team can cause so many upsets
-and that the players have seen many-a-scenario thanks to solo queue and whatnot that they're essentially just reliving what they've already done, it already happens in the western scene but I don't believe its to the extent that JP is doing it. Keep pushing though-
