Here I am in Melbourne, Australia, at our latest cultural astronomy school this week. There are 45 lecturers and students.
I included daily sessions teaching undergraduate & grad students cultural astronomy. Our keynote speakers did their part teaching, too. I started a trend of having cultural astronomy schools attached to our big conferences.
In 2006, I organized my first international conference on cultural astronomy at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, coincident with the total solar eclipse.
Tomorrow there are watch parties all over the world to see the Rubin Observatoryβs first public release of images. You can find one near you: rubinobservatory.org/news/rubin-f....
