Broadly, I really hoped that readers of Bludeye Beach would enjoy Edie and Milo's love story, which I think they have? More specifically, I had hoped the prologue would land as a good hard punch into the scary parts of Bludeye Beach.

In Bludeye Beach, Edie definitely has an active imagination, but most of the time it's playing out from her anxieties; she has a bit of a habit of catastrophizing 😅
(In her defense, sometimes the monsters are real tho 😂)
