The reviews used to justify this excluded nearly 97% of all studies from inclusion in their analysis. This is an absolutely obscene hatchet job by the NHS specifically created to eliminate access to hormones for trans youth.
1. A new NHS England Review excluded 97% of all trans care studies to conclude that trans youth care doesn't work.
It explicitly violates several guidelines around reviewing literature, and appears to be politics masquerading as (shoddy) science.

An image of a social media post on X (formerly Twitter) from the account of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (@KenPaxtonTX), posted on March 9, 2026. The post text reads: "🚨🚨 BREAKING: I secured a victory against a New York-based child mutilator to stop the sale of chest binders to Texas girls. I will never allow radical companies like Lola Olivia to abuse Texas children by 'transitioning' them." Below the text is an embedded image of an official press release from the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. The press release is titled: "Attorney General Ken Paxton Secures Victory Against New York-Based Child Mutilator to Stop the Sale of Chest Binders to Texas Girls." The body of the release states that Attorney General Paxton secured a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) against the New York City-based online retailer, Lola Olivia, Inc. It claims the company sold chest binders to children as young as nine years old without disclosing health risks. The release cites concerns regarding medical conditions, physical pain, and long-term bodily harm. It concludes with a quote from Paxton stating his office will continue to protect children against "radical, sick corporations."
Texas AG Ken Paxton has gotten a TRO in Texas court blocking retailer Lola Olivia from selling underwear to trans people.
The number of people coming out as trans is going to skyrocket.

At 1:30 Central/2:30 Eastern, my colleague @harperseldin.bsky.social will be in state court in Kansas asking a judge to block the new law that invalidated the driver's licenses of trans people across the state. You can tune into the hearing here
1. Yesterday, Joe Rogan called transgender people perverts and school shooters to his audience of tens of millions of people.
It was his most overt display of transphobia yet.
Democrats wanted to court this man and his listeners.

I lack the words to capture it, but ... it's just endlessly remarkable to me that so many people in our society have chosen trans kis -- TRANS KIDS, the smallest, least significant, most vulnerable demographic slice you could possibly pick -- as a repository for all their fears & insecurities.
They're putting anti trans slogans on the trans flag so that they can say their anti trans messaging while making it like trans rights supporters are doing the violence here. It's intentional.

South Dakota Supreme Court denies petition by trans woman to changer her birth certificate sex, ruling that trans people cannot do so recorded sex was an error made at the time of their birth (which some might say it does).

WV Senate passes 2 bills: 1 prohibits drag shows as “adult cabaret performances” on public property or where minors cd see them; 2 wd charge trans people using right locker rooms with indecent exposure as sex offenders. Most WV Dems backed both measures.
I regularly go to New Hampshire to hike and ski. If this is enacted, I will not comply and will dare them to enforce this on me. I've been using the women's bathroom without issue for a decade. I'm not letting them push us backwards.

The reason I fight so hard for trans kids is because I was a trans kid myself. I knew who I was in the year 2000, 12 years old, behind my computer, using the name Erin. I wanted puberty blockers so badly. My body shifted and changed in horrifying ways that I suffered for 15 years over.
The headline reads "How to win a culture war from behind" with the subheader: "Marriage equality won by changing the question. Trans rights activists are fighting on the wrong terrain." It is dated March 5, 2026.
Has Lakshya ever actually talked to a trans person about any of this? He prognosticates on what the trans movement should do while ignoring what we've actually done. Just absolutely inane stuff.
I'm going to take a wild guess that none of those people were trans.
1. Missouri appears to be forging ahead with 3 bathroom bans in public buildings across the state.
They heard 3 bills in a single night on the topic.
Lawmakers are worried that we could see what happened to Kansas happen there too.

Steve-O was on Joe Rogan's show trying to defend trans people and Rogan went off, he called trans people "fucking perverts" and "mass shooters" who have done the majority of school shootings.
Completely unhinged bigotry paid for by your Spotify subscriptions.
I, too, think tens of thousands of people should go to prison because sometimes I smell something I don't like
I wrote about the House hearing today, how Congress is trying to strip anonymity from the Internet, and the devastating effects that has for journalists, whistleblowers, LGBTQ ppl, immigrants, civil rights activists, abortion providers and anyone challenging power for @theintercept.com

California should remove any kid who’s been outed against their will from their parents‘ custody until or unless the kid feels safe enough to return to them. If they absolutely have to out kids, they can at least remove them from dangerous environments before they get hurt.
Why not? Our sorry excuse for a president ignores the constitution constantly & red states pass blatantly illegal laws, so why not tell the court to go fuck themselves & fire any teacher who outs kids for child abuse.
This court specifically avoided bringing up challenges on bans for gender affirming care for trans youth on parental rights grounds so they can weaponize parental rights against trans youth while stripping them from the supportive parents of trans youth. It's obscene.
Can’t California just ignore this bullshit?
1. The Supreme Court just handed down its 5th anti-trans decision in less than a year.
It could lead to forced outing of trans youth across the country, with 40 cases pending that it may impact.
It also forces CA teachers to misgender some trans students.
