Last year’s failed HB 1539 is back for the 2026 Legislative Session (HB 1119) filed by Rep. Bankson again.
It would remove a district’s ability to review a work in its entirety to determine literary, artistic, scientific, or political value before forcing removal.

When the topic of religion comes up at school my son tells his friends that he believes reality is a simulation and it "makes them reconsider their lives" 🤣

My dad passed peacefully in his sleep at the age of 66 while traveling the world next to the love of his life of over 44 years. My family is truly heartbroken by the hole this tragedy has left as a husband, father, and grand"god" in our lives. The world is not the same without you!
