Yeah, they very clearly made it all-or-nothing deliberately, in order to strong-arm users into keeping the AI, since they had those tabs for sorting email way before the AI boondoggle began

Although we've decided colloquially to give every 10 years or so a "generation" name, it actually means a layer of reproduction. So my kids are the 1st generation, I'm the 2nd, & my parents are the 3rd. My grandparents (4th generation back & deceased) would've been the ones we're discussing.

There are a couple of places in the review where it's clear the writer assumes, for no stated reason, that "order" necessarily follows from a consolidation of power, & that smaller kingdoms and tribes automatically means "chaos," which is, at best, a grade-school level understanding of human society
