Nowadays, it's hard to tell sarcasm because everything is not as it should be.
Medicine is only one aspect of care. If you reduce disability by the control with medicine, you also reduce benefits, both medically and financially. My meds are constantly being adjusted. I take 13 meds a day. Some days I can't get out of bed. It took over 6 years to get my disability. 6 years!
