Those seminaries will eventually follow the decline arc of their denominations, one must assume, though I do think it will be slower and flatter than the mainline decline arc. There are explanations for both the phenomena and the differences in different contexts. Orthodoxy isn't really one of them.

I continue to find it disappointing that Stetzer and folks like him can't muster a nuanced understanding of why more vocally conservative seminaries are having success, beyond "orthodoxy good".

I imagine that's one of the reasons for the crossing. And, if the NDP collapse, their votes basically go to the LPC, and we'll never see another conservative federal govt again. (Unless the CPC radical changes tack)

The TLDR is, communitarian rights to self-determination are not straight-forward precisely because communities are always complex, plural, & networked to other communities. We live in a society, not a collection of closed enclaves. Rights of groups and individuals need to be negotiated and balanced.

To give you a sense of how sensitive Albertaβs provincial budget is to global oil prices:
At the current 1-year forward strip for crude oil, Albertaβs budget would go from a $9B deficit to an **$8B SURPLUS**
Begs the question of whether AB should consider hedging these windfall gains at some point

Keynesianism basically works, in economic terms. Pierre Trudeau's view was that the state should act as the flywheel of the market economy, to balance and stabilize its fluctuations into something amenable for the prosperity of a free and democratic society. It works, and everyone hates it for that

Canada created more jobs in 2025 (! year of the economic attack!) than the U.S., tho the U.S. job market is 7.5 times bigger.
"Health" generated 41% of the new jobs. "Care" (incl educ) almost 1/2.
Demographics guarantees that this job juggernaut will continue to dominate. Demand>supply everywhere.
