It was a privilege to organise the 2025 RSC Nucleic Acids Forum at Burlington House last week - @rscnucleicacids.bsky.social!
The NAF has been my favourite event every year, so it was amazing to run it myself!

Our final speaker of the day is Thomas Maher from Imperial College London, presenting his work on the “Interrogation of the nuclear G quadruplex interactome through SG4directed proximity labelling“
Next, we have Alissa Drees from the University of Cambridge, discussing “Illuminating G-quadruplex stability by optical high-throughput sequencing”
Our next speaker is Daniel Whitaker from UCL, presenting work on the “Non-enzymatic aminoacylation of RNA”
The first speaker of session 3 is Johann Fritzen from the University of Mainz, on the “Programmable DNA Protonuclei Reveal Hidden Determinants of Protein Phase Separation in Nuclear-Mimetic Environments”
Our final speaker of this session is Korak Kumar Ray from the MRC Laboratory, discussing “ANKLE1 is a DNA branch-point processing endonuclease stimulated by mechanical tension”!
Next we have Alexia Rottensteiner from UCL, talking about “A DNA nanodevice that measures the nanomechanics of live-cell membranes”
