A view of the baths on a terrace below the level of the main hydro building, from a contemporary stereocard. The baths were of a strange combination of styles, with two wings of tall, slightly arched windows standing on either side of a pedimented portico, behind which was a tall windowed tower supporting a cupola.
The Turkish baths cooling-room elaborately decorated showing two sculptured figures on supporting columns, behind which is a large circular ottoman. To the right are dressing cubicles and a partitioned area, whose purpose is so far unknown. (The Lawrence Photograph Collection L_NS_01091. Image courtesy of the National Library of Ireland)
