After a long and crappy day, I needed to do some sketching in my book. I ended up dusting off one of other original characters who once was optioned to have his own cartoon show. Like many things in show biz, it never happened. Still, I want to do something with this little guy. #sketches

Masters of the Universe + See n Say. After the Mattel Tribute show was over I pitched it to Mattel because they hold both brands, and the collector’s market was hot, at the time. They passed. Some companies just like leaving money on the table.

Watched it just before everyone arrived for the festivities. There aren’t many Thanksgiving movies, but the one we got is an amazing one. Was happy to include a small tribute to it in my piece honoring movies from 1987.

Miss him. He’s the one and only celebrity whose death actually moved me to tears. I just hope he’s happy and at peace, wherever he is. 🦇

That’s awesome. I am that for lots of people, but sadly they don’t return the sentiment. But it’s nice to hear some people do.
