before-edits pic of the photo upthread, i did a really bad job with the exposure settings because it was getting late and i was in a rush haha. my skin is glowing white!!

post-lightroom edits; saving the overexposed mess worked because the photo was shot in raw mode thankfully

post photoshop edits; i used a process called frequency separation to remove undesirable details and add contour to my face and other parts of the photo. i also punched up some of the leaves using layers set to color mode, added text, brought down the reds a bit using selective color layers, etc.
