Of course the perfect social media app is one that doesn’t have blatant bigotry in every corner, doesn’t have far right views pushed onto you, an FBPE free zone, naked pictures under every viral post, and no Liverpool or Arsenal fans.

I had to stop myself. I got into a lot of debt buying all sorts of records from there.

There is a reason I have every single United cup final that was released on vinyl (bar one). Relentless it was.

This time next week I’ll be stumbling back to the rented apartment from Tirana’s premier rock club. Could be worse.

I absolutely despise some of the crap that gets pushed to you on a daily basis, but I (and I suspect many others) can’t help but interact with it to tell them how wrong they are. It’s addictive.

There’s no doubt that this app is “nicer” and (at least so far) doesn’t seem to have attracted the levels of bigotry and hatred as Twitter/X, but certainly for me, that’s one of the reasons I can’t imagine me making the move permanent.

Still very much think this (and Threads) will go the way of Google+ but staking my claim just in case.
