They've made the justification that it was necessary because of their relatively small team and budget. Regardless of how fair that actually is, they've now made more money than god so they really should just rehire the VAs to do the lines for real and replace the awkward stilted TTS delivery.

I prefer when a world has them, but if they're just being used like normal light probes I honestly don't really notice that they're even there a lot of the time.

Also putting the 'purchased' list where the 'uploaded' list was before has been a nightmare for my muscle memory. For a feature they've admitted isn't aimed at power users, they sure chose to put it in our way!

Nothing's wrong with moving on to more professional things, no one can freely maintain stuff forever. I do think though that there is a responsibility that comes with building a tool that's relied on so heavily. Cyan knew that this was going to happen when he chose to discontinue the tool this way.

That's a good point. From what I understand, UdonGraph was meant to be the replacement for the VRCTriggers. I haven't personally used it enough to know how viable it actually is but it seems like no one really likes it that much.

People are mad at VRC for this, but isn't the blame more with CyanLaser for dropping support for the tool without handing it off to anyone else or allowing anyone to maintain it? I think people have the right to handle their own projects as they want, but that choice made this the inevitable outcome

dropping in to say, for all my 3D modeler friends out there, if you're frustrated by how difficult it is to find reference images on google these days you can use bing to make your life easier! i'm sure there are other options out there but all i know is google's algorithm is awful
