I take photos, knit and crochet. I like beer and sometimes I take photos of beer but have yet learned how to knit or crochet one. I watch quite a few movies which I log on Letterboxd. https://boxd.it/8Gqe1

Having lived in Europe 16 years and just moved back to Canada I really miss access to cheap & frequent scheduled rail travel. It annoys me so much that I have to drive Comox to Victoria which involves overnight with hotel as its a 3 hr drive rather than jumping a train and having a day trip.

The French Left Is United, Not for the First Time The New Popular Front echoes the politics of the 1930s, but what can be learned from the historical parallels?

hear me out though, do you not think they can get more accomplished from being inside the room? I have always been a big fan of coalitions. I was just reading an article about France and the Popular Front newlinesmag.com/essays/the-f...

I would think the EU is saying β€˜sure, we’ll take your cars’ but the unsaid is - no one is going to buy them, because they are too big and use too much petrol.

Also dragging yourself in whilst sick then risks infecting your coworkers. Just stay home and nip it in the bud, rather than coming in and end up being sick for longer and taking others down with you. And employers, stop penalising your workers for being sick - that doesn’t help!

I find this strangely therapeutic :)

Extremely thankful today to both the CAD Federal and BC Provincial governments as I picked up my HRT prescriptions at $0 cost :)

3000! Impressive, how do you store them? Custom shelving, wine crates? Currently struggling with trying to work out what the best audio storage system can be for our lounge.

YO-P1 is a stitch combo my brain refuses to learn. I knit continental holding working yarn in my left hand. Every time i get to this comb i end up wrapping the stitch one way, then think that doesn’t work, then wrap it the other way and think that doesn’t work, watch video again :( #knitsky 🧢

I know I’ll be in the minority but I prefer the warmth of the colour photo. Helps to give a sense of time as well from the colour palette.

It’s different for everyone. For me brain fog, migraines and depression was a good year. Have been on HRT since 2020 and have zero plans to ever go off as I do NOT want to go through that again. No answer on the periods as I was on an implant so did get them anyway.
