As the end of term creeps closer, we wonder whether you are wrapping presents yet? 🎁 How much paper do you use?
We use lots of genuine papyrus in some of our workshops, so we worked out exactly how much we get through in a year!

We took 1,400 in-person and virtual workshops to 76,700 pupils last year. We love to get everybody 'hands on', which uses a lot of resources.
We asked ourselves, "Just how much clay do we get through?" and were astonished by the answer! 🐘

Large boards, printed with the background of Victorian rooms, are set up in a cross formation to create 4 spaces. They are reinforced by inset pieces printed as fireplaces.
The Victorian Dining room set up fully. In front of the backdrop boards of wallpaper & paintings, a green covered table has stacked plates, bowls, cutlery & table decorations. Out of sight is a separate table with a white tablecloth that the children will be 'setting' formally.
The Victorian laundry. The backdrop boards show brick walls with large bloomers hanging on the washing line. The table has tongs, flat irons, soap, mangle, etc. Alongside are a large tin bath, scrubbing board, dolly and a BIG bag of laundry!
The Victorian library, where the children will do some sewing. The backdrop has a large bookcase & chest of drawers printed on. The table is set out with examples of Victorian Samplers, books, and the fabric & threads ready for the pupils.
That video shows the Victorian Big House being loaded. This brings up to 12 rooms into your hall for KS1. The children will make things, handle artefacts & role play in 1897. In the afternoon, we put on a Music Hall show!
We also have a KS2 #Victorians day, as well as a Virtual.
