on the first day of march, I continue my days doing just that, doing what I love, choosing to live my life at my own pace. this time, with the people in my life, starting and ending the day with time spent with loved ones.

I saw a beautiful sunset, the sky painted in violets & pinks & yellows, the lamp light illuminating amber.

tomorrow it’ll rain and be a difficult day, but rather than take it as an ill omen, I want to take it as a sign for new beginnings. mother earth’s act of love to shower away the dirt and grime and worry we hold. my friend reminded me of this sentiment.

today I started and ended my day with dear friends, it’s been a lovely first day of march~

shima thinking “i want to stay here” right after he realizes what it means to be a mother to mitsumi makes me think about how he is finally allowing himself to not only feel worthy of being loved and cared for, but he is also allowed to show that same care for those he loves

he didn’t grew surrounded by love, but mitsumi did. and being around her light is still a little confusing for him, since he doesn’t feel like he fits in. but he’s not the same anymore…he’s realizing that yes, he deserves to love and be loved
