Microsoft has released an emergency Windows 11 24H2 update to address an incompatibility issue triggering restarts with blue screen of death (BSOD) errors on systems with Easy Anti-Cheat.
This is interesting. My first take is that this is promoting ill-advised and insecure practices, but I’ll reserve final judgement until I’ve had a chance to review and reflect.

CISA has warned U.S. federal agencies to secure their systems against ongoing attacks targeting a high-severity Windows kernel vulnerability.
I’ve been using this as a replacement for Bitwarden (which was great), which was a replacement for Last Pass (which had some serious security issues). Overall it works very well, especially as I am fairly entrenched in the Apple ecosystem.

I’m excited to see an alternative to Twitter growing. Hopefully this will turn into what Twitter used to be for me, a community of people where ideas, resources, and stories flourished. I’ve been purposefully absent from social media, as it had a net negative impact on me. Looking forward to change.
