Many of them were still on scene this morning, such as this group, watched over by Kenny Hunter's 2001 Citizen Firefighter statue outside the nearby Central Hotel, which is a memorial to all firefighters past and present. Thank you to you all.

a lot of comments this morning about the rate at which old buildings in Glasgow go up in flames so I just want to say: as a bystander with no direct knowledge of this fire, but a good bit of knowledge about old buildings burning, i don’t think this one is sketchy.

The sign is gone, as is the dome. We have to hope for the Station and hotel.
Speculation, however, and Glasgow buildings seem to have been doing this my whole lifetime and more, so maybe I shouldn't have even hinted.
