And while I would love a candidate to campaign on universal healthcare, tax the rich, term limits, campaign contribution limits, paid leave, etc. I think we need a moderate Dem first to break the MAGA cycle, and someone who’s able to fight back while we get rid of Schumer and Jeffries

I think rebuilding is a multi-step process that requires fixing foreign relations, holding MAGA accountable, rehiring government workers, rebuilding USAID, etc. Dem leadership needs to be flipped over - and I see Gavin as being a useful tool in that longer term transition to sanity

I would like to politely push back. I agree with his reasoning that a wealth tax at the State level will lead to folks leaving California. I personally believe we need to tax the rich at the Federal level to avoid tax shelters for billionaires.
